have you really paid attention over the years? ive been around since the first one, so let me break it down to you.

menacide didnt even do deadline extentsions, he set a date, and it went down. now, i seem to remember him making a few exceptions when the artist directly asked for it, but did you ever try and open direct lines of communication with cross, outside this thread? did he know why you were waiting till THE LAST FUCKING MINUTE to send in a track for a project you'e known all year about?

second, IF mena had a project coming out soon near devils nite, he had no problem mentioning that as well. infact, every artist that submits and is accepted is encouraged to promote the cd and themselves in tandem. what part of free release to the underground do you not understand? every free release is for promotion. unless you're a hobbyest.

and how is he forcing anyone to his site? crakd hosted the cd as well, use that one, doesnt take you to worms site at all. or better yet, host the fucking thing yourself, cross aint gonna care. im sure ANYONE can host/promote/push the damn thing, so long as they keep the info straight.

Cliff, I'm not even bummed by his opinion at all. He's entitled to it.

I can type pages and pages and pages justifying every single decision I made. All of it will explain everything a lot better. But not to people who don't want to see anything but shadiness.

I calculated everything. from the day menacide put up the devilz nite thread, there was 76 days (1824 hours) to submit. I gave an additional 3 days (72 hours) two weeks prior. That's 1896. I cut the 3rd day short making the total number of hours 1891. (keep in mind we were already 12 hours into the 3rd day. I didn't make it the stroke of midnight like a dick.)

so that's 0.3% taken away from the total (if you want to call it that).
or you could look at it as an additional 3.6% of time from the original and traditional submission deadline.

not too generous.
not too ruthless.

it falls somewhere around the line of
"nice fuckin work, crossworm"
